We selected 10 Scottish
single malts and approached four famous chefs in the Netherlands,
Belgium, France and Scotland with the following question: Would you be
so kind to prepare a 10 course menu with these whiskies? They all
agreed and the answer came as 40 surprisingly different, tasty and
creative whisky-&-food combinations.

Taste of Whisky is not a classical cooking book. First and foremost it
is a lifestyle book about taste. How the taste of whisky can be
combined with food. It is also a book to look at, time and again,
thanks to the beautiful photography from award-winning Dutch graphic
designer and photographer Gijs Dragt. The reader is taken on a journey
starting at the roots, in the Scottish distilleries, travelling through
the beautiful landscape of the Highlands, straight to the tables of the
four chefs.
